Custom Format

You must have administrator rights to access this feature.

This functionality is found in the Import/Export>Format Editor>Fields.

The setting is available on Date, Time, and Date/Time fields, once the Use Special Functioncheck box is selected, and consists of Custom Format in the field, Date Format and Time Format text fields, and a Time First check box.

The Custom Format setting is used to establish the correct format of the data. Date Format defines the correct Month, Day and Year layout of the data being imported or exported. Time Format defines the correct hour, minute, and second layout for the data being imported or exported. Time First indicates if the time portion of the data proceeds the date portion. When Time First is selected, the time portion of the data proceeds the date portion. If the Date Format, Time Format, and Time First fields have no values, then the Custom Format option is no longer used.
