Scenario Builder Views

You must have administrator rights to access this feature.

You must have a Cartegraph OMS advanced feature extension to access this feature.

Details of a Scenario can be seen by selecting View from the Scenarios list view of Scenario Builder in the Administration menu.

When viewing a specific Scenario there are two tabs: Results and Scenario Detail. If the Scenario has been ran successfully and has a status of Completed, then the Results tab is selected on initial display of the screen, otherwise the Scenario Detail tab is selected. Both tabs share the overview header. The overview header can be collapsed from view.

Scenario Detail

The Scenario Detail tab has three sections:

Settings

Contains details of the scenario setup such as Scenario Name, Asset Type and Scenario Type.

Plan Years

A list of the Plan Year setup for the Scenario, such as the budget for each year if the scenario is a Budget Limitation Type or the Target OCI of each year if the scenario is OCI Target Type. The Plan Year list is on both the Results and Scenario Detail tabs, but does not follow the same persistence. This allows the user to customize the column settings for each tab.

Protocols

Displays a grid of the Protocols applied to the scenario.

Results

The Results tab has three sections:

Overview

  • Contains details of the scenario results such as start date, total cost, overall beginning, and ending estimated OCI
  • Contains charts which can be selected to display different information about the scenario. Charts display depends on chart options, whether the scenario has been run, and data availability.
  • The charts are:
    • Activity Cost per Plan
    • YearBudget vs Cost per Plan Year
    • Budget vs Cost per Scenario
    • Cost for Impact per Scenario
    • Net OCI Gain per Scenario
    • Plan Years

Plan Years

  • Default sort is Plan Year.
  • Cross session persistence of selected columns and sort order.
  • The Plan Year list exists on both the Results and Scenario Detail tab, but does not follow the same persistence. This allows the user to customize the column settings for each tab.
  • Grid values can be exported.
  • The bottom of the list displays record count totals.

Activities

  • Shows a list of the individual activities that would be recommended based on the scenario settings.
  • Default sort is Sequence Number.
  • Cross-session persistence of selected columns and sort order.
  • Export list values.
  • The bottom of the list displays record count totals.
