Playground Equipment Routine Check Activity-Based Layout Example

This is an example layout to use for playground equipment routine checks. It is based on the Handbook for Public Playground Safety.  Tweak the sections to best meet your organization's needs.

  1. Click iAdministration_sm.png>Layout Manager.
  2. From the Layout Manager header, select the following:
  • Category:  Work
  • Type:  Tasks
  • View Type:  Detail View
  • View: An existing view where you want to add the routine checks completed and corrective measures sections
  1. Click  Add Section.
  2. Enter Routine Checks Completed and click Apply.
  3. Drag the following fields into the section:
  • Debris or Litter
  • Vandalism or Graffiti
  • Protective Surface
  • Proper Drainage
  • Overgrown Vegetation
  • Tripping Hazards
  • User Modified Equipment
  • Trash Emptied
  1. Click  iSectionFilter.png and add a filter for the Playground Equipment asset and Routine Checks activity.
  2. Click Apply.
  3. Click Add Group Header.
  4. Enter Corrective Measures.
  5. Drag the following fields into the section:
  • Corrective Measure Notes 
  • Follow-up Work Required 
  1. Click  iSectionFilter.png and add a filter for the Playground Equipment asset and Routine Checks activity.
  2. Click Apply.
  3. Click Save.

When you create a task for playground equipment with a routine checks activity, the new sections of Routine Checks Completed and Corrective Measures display in the Detail view.
