Cartegraph Server OMS Component Communication Port Listing

This document lists the various communication paths for the Cartegraph OMS products and the port numbers within the network necessary for the communication to effectively work.

In a two-tier environment there is no dedicated Application server; the Web server does the Application server's job. In a two-tier environment, any mentions of the Application server here actually refer to the Web server.

For SSL Communication the port 6443 is utilized. The default port for communication for Esri ArcServer is 6080. This port is configurable when installing the ArcServer Web Adaptor by the Esri Administrator.

The Application Server communicates to the MS SQL Server database server with a standard MS OLE DB connection along the default port number for SQL Server. This port number can also be configured by the DBA when installing and configuration the MS SQL Database server.

This is a standard Windows File Share using the default ports for Windows File Sharing UDP/TCP port numbers or whichever protocols are in use, depending upon network configuration.

 All the communication ports listed are the default ports for each component installation. Please be aware that each port can be configured individually.
