New Cartegraph User Overview

You must be a Cartegraph Administrator to do this task.

  1. Identify or create a Security role the user should belong to.
NOTE: A user can only belong to one role. If your organization uses Cartegraph AMS, assign to one of the default roles.
  1. Create an ArcGIS Identity user.
NOTE: You are required to have an ArcGIS Identity if you want to access ArcGIS features. This identity must be associated to the organization's ArcGIS account.
  1. Create a User Account in User Administration.
  2. Create a Labor record if this user enters hours to Tasks.
NOTE: When creating a Labor record, select the appropriate User Account. This provides the user with information specifically assigned to them. For example, viewing their Tasks in the Time sheet Task list.
