Add Resource Parent Fields to a Report with Task Logs

This help topic applies to reports created using the Advanced Designer.

In order to add any parent fields from a Resource record, Labor, Equipment, and Material, while creating or editing a report with resource log information, select them from the parent folder, under the Log folder.

For this example, the Labor ID field is added to a Labor Log report container, in the Report Designer.

  1. Add a Report Container and select the Labor/Log recordset.
  2. Select the desired Log fields from the list.
  3. Expand the Labor folder under the Labor_Log folder.
  4. Select the ID field.

All parent-level labor fields are available in this folder.
