- View the layer of the record for which you want to create a report in List view.
OPTIONAL: Add a layer.
NOTE: Active layers must all be of the same recordset in order to create a report.
- Click Reports>Create.
NOTE: The Type defaults to the recordset of the current layer.
- Enter the Report Name.
NOTE: This must be unique for the report Type, in the List view.
- Select the report Layout.
- Click Create.
The Report Designer opens and the report is saved in the Project Home.
NOTE: If you are using the Basic Designer, the report only displays in the Project Home after it has been saved.
NOTE: Cartegraph recommends closing the Report Designer when not in use.
