About the Report Viewer

Running a report in Cartegraph opens the Report Viewer in a new browser tab.

The report viewer has four sections:

Cartegraph Bar

  • Report Format
  • Report Name
  • Refresh report
  • Edit report
  • Duplicate report
  • Delete report

Viewer Bar

  • Page navigation: Shows the currently visible page / total number of pages. Use the left and right arrows to navigate to the previous or next page.
  • Zoom in/Zoom out
  • Restore zoom
  • Export
  • Print
  • Cancel: Stops creating the report. A report that has been canceled cannot be exported or printed.

Report Frame

Displays each page of the report.

Report Parameters

On the left side of the Report Frame, parameters display. This is a way to quickly change the data the report is filtered on without editing the report design. For example, the Task Detail standard report contains a date parameter when run from the Reports page. Once the report has fully loaded, change the Start and Stop dates to apply to the report and Apply.

Reports must be fully loaded before some options are available. Reports are considered fully loaded when the total number of pages has stopped increasing and there is no longer a + next to the number.

Once the report has finished loading, these additional options are available:

  • Print
  • Export
  • Report parameters
