Labor Cost Calculations

When Labor log entries are added, the cost is added to the Task’s Labor and Total Costs. If the task is associated to a Work Order, the Labor Cost is added to the Work Order. If the task is associated with an asset, the Labor Cost is added to the asset’s total cost.

If Labor log entries are removed, the cost is deducted from the Task’s total and the Work Order’s total, if it exists. If the task is associated with an asset, the Labor Cost is deducted from the asset’s total cost.

The Labor Logs section lists each labor history's details. This section is read-only.

  • Hours worked costs are calculated as Hours*Rate=Cost.
  • Cost of hours worked is calculated as Cost/Rate=Hours.
