Add Assignments to Time Sheets

The Add Assignments option quickly adds any assigned Labor to the time sheet.

  1. Navigate to the Task you want to enter Resources for.
  2. Click Screen Shot 2018-04-12 at 4.31.01 PM.png.
  3. In the Labor section, click Add Assignments.
All Labor assigned to the Task displays.


The Add Assignments option saves time and helps keep Resource entry accurate. In this example, Pat, Chris, and Kim are assigned to Task 5543. Each person worked 8 hours and Kim finished the Task alone needing another 2 hours.

  1. Click the Work tab.
  2. Click the Task tab.
  3. Locate and highlight Task 5543.
  4. Click Screen Shot 2018-04-12 at 4.31.01 PM.png.
  5. In the Labor section of the time sheet, click Add Assignments.
  6. A row for Pat, Chris, and Kim are added to the Labor section, with the Rate Name defaulted to Standard.
  7. In each row, enter 8 in the Hours field.
  8. Select Kim from the Labor list and click Add.
  9. Change the Rate Name to Overtime and Enter 2 in the Hours field.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Click Close.
