Add Labor Assignments to the Time Sheet Example

The Add Assignments option saves time and helps keep Resource entry accurate. In this example, Pat, Chris, and Kim are assigned to Task 5543. Each person worked 8 hours and Kim finished the Task alone, needing another 2 hours.

  1. Click the Work tab.
  2. Click the Task tab.
  3. Locate and highlight Task 5543.

  5. In the Labor section of the time sheet, click Add Assignments.
  6. Select the rate and number of hours.
  7. Rows for Pat, Chris, and Kim are added to the Labor section, with the Rate Name and Hours defaulted to the above selection.
  8. Select Kim from the Labor list and click Add.
  9. Change the Rate Name to Overtime and Enter 2 in the Hours field.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Click Close.
